Michelle Alozie, The Houston Dash and ACCESS U Foundation teamed up to grow the game of soccer in underrepresented communities and to make the sport more accessible and inclusive, especially for young girls. We hosted an exciting weekend of soccer and learning for girls in Houston, Texas.
Activities included a visit to the Houston Dash headquarters, where students explored "Careers in Sports" with Dash employees and special guest, President Jessica O'Neil. The weekend also featured a VIP stadium tour and an on-field experience during the Dash's final home game of the season. To cap it off, ACCESS U girls had an inspiring meet-and-greet with Michelle Alozie, engaging in meaningful discussions about soccer, college, and mental health.
